How it works

Every commission is priced individually. We reply by email, usually within one working day, and nothing is charged until you agree.
Cloth and construction
A custom suit is only as good as what sits under the cloth. Ours are built on a full canvas — a layer of horsehair and wool floated between the cloth and the lining, sewn rather than glued — so the chest moulds to you over time instead of bubbling away from you after a season.
The cloth is sourced from Jaipur, India and chosen for hand and longevity: wool for most of the year, linen for heat, cashmere where it earns its place. Every commission passes through the hands of a single tailor from cut to finish. Nothing is rushed and nothing is outsourced.
Common questions
A custom suit is made for one person rather than pulled off a rail. You choose the cloth, the lining, the buttons and the cut, and the suit is made to your measurements instead of a standard size. Nothing is cut until the specification and the price are agreed in writing.
Custom suits are quoted individually, because the price follows the cloth and the work involved rather than a fixed rate card. Send us your configuration and we will reply by email with a price, usually within one working day. There is nothing to pay to get a quote.
Because each suit is cut and finished by hand by a single tailor, a commission takes longer than a ready-to-wear order. We agree a timeline with you in writing before any cloth is cut, so you always know where your suit is.
Yes. The configurator lets you either choose a standard size or send your own chest, waist, shoulder, sleeve and jacket-length measurements in inches or centimetres. We check them against your garment before cutting and come back to you if anything looks off.
Yes. Weddings and black tie are among the most common reasons people commission a suit from us. Tell us the date when you send your configuration and we will confirm whether the timeline works before you commit to anything.

Add player names, numbers, or individual details while keeping the overall design consistent for the whole group.
The words overlap, and the trade uses them loosely. Made-to-measure usually means a house pattern adjusted to your measurements; bespoke usually means a pattern drafted for you from scratch over several fittings. We use "custom" because it covers what we actually do: your cloth, your details, and your measurements, on a garment made for you.
